Merrick is a personal assistant you instruct by text message. You are responsible for the instructions you give it and for the actions you approve.
Merrick does not spend money without showing you the terms and receiving your approval for those specific terms. If the terms change between your approval and the action, the approval is void and it asks again.
An approval is consent to one specific thing, not a standing permission.
The assistant can be wrong. It can misunderstand a request, and the services it talks to can be unavailable, slow, or wrong themselves. The confirmation step exists because this is true, not as a formality — read what it shows you before approving it.
We do not guarantee the service will be available, and we do not guarantee that any particular action will succeed.
Message frequency varies with your use of the service. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
You can stop at any time by replying STOP. We may stop providing the service to anyone, at any time.
